Goodbye Kooooort!

Well, we have a nice little get together down at Vago say goodbye to Mr. Kurt, be takin a job up in Santa Barbara, get his daughters some edumacation proper fo bout 3 or 4 years. This man is a saint. Well, afta we playin up da live music in Mary, all is well til Brett bust out lyrics to REO Speedwagon, "heard it from a friend who..heard it from a friend who, heard it from a motherfucker you been messin around..." Any way, down hill from there...

New Line of Surfin Boards

Well we done got up and sponsored by brand new line of surfin boards, gotta brand new fancy logo look jus like the ole Imperial bottle but a little different, finally got the ole Soda Mary Surf Team up on da wide screen in black and white, thanks to Chad and Erin, welcome back to da ghetto...pura vida, da waves are small but we still hava lotta fun bra...

Sweet Home Alabama...

Today we surf out front on Baby Reef and she still spittin out small babies, kind little waves with the occassional top turn floater off the top. Went for breakfast with Les, Yvonne, Pat and Larry bout 9am, had a couple of coldies while the other folks is drankin coffee, sep Larry, he drankin his old Pilsen, the drankin team has no problem...

After a 2 hour nap, woke up, gotta go to work, did 4 surf lessons for a nice family from Alabama, wow, nice people, they did great and after the lesson we shows them the best place to buy cold beer, Go Bomba! Back to their house on the beach and they invite us to have dinner, grilled RED SNAPPER, did not refuse an invite from a proper southern hospitality, you guys are PURA VIDA!

Thanks for dinner y'áll...Jim, Laura, Gregg, Ben, Emily and Jennifer, welcome to Soda Mary for some Seafood Gumbo one day, or Jambalaya or Etoufee, it ain't no problem...
